a palinode greeting

i forgot to greet everybody in cebu happy holidays on the 25th (philippine time). this might be late, but MERRY CHRISTMAS!

last night was probably one of the most memorable christmases ever because.. well, because.. i don't know. it just feels good to reunite with family. i know it was bad for us to miss church, which was the whole point of the season, but at least we got something good from the celebration: the spirit of love. it's good to break from the monotonous routine of house-cleaning and sleeping and studying to feel the warmth of love through a sprinkle of wildly funny family affairs (haha to uncle's shaolin charade).

ew, so cliche-sh and overdramatic.

random thoughts on christmas card messages. i only knew that "merry christmas and a happy new year" was gramatically incorrect when i began analyzing somebody's text message for me with the 'a' on the greeting ommitted. and then i realized that the only reason people add 'a' on it is because the song "we wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year" contains that phrase, hence the error. so shouldn't the correct saying be merry christmas and happy new year?

nope, i don't make sense.
so that's why i didn't get that stupid disney job.
